Healing with Zana

I have known Zana Licht for several years; she is the creator of the Illume Gallery, which is devoted entirely to salt crystals. Zana was the first to offer these to Southern California over four years ago and has been utilizing their healing properties for the last few years. In 2005, she developed the Illume Salt BedÅ a one-of-a-kind treatment bed made from Himalayan crystal salt. As you lie on the illuminated bed, the heat of the salt crystals is soothing, yet energizing.
I wondered how Zana came to this healing journey. "I came to understand the key to this process was to change my perception, and, change it, I did," Zana said. "Challenges became lessons—opportunities for personal development. Challenging people became my teachers—those who entered my life to help me look at and deal with certain aspects of myself. This marked a turning point, and an intense self-healing process began. In the years that followed, I felt called to help others on their journeys, using my spiritual gifts to assist them in their own processes of transmutation."
What I found interesting during my session in her downtown San Diego space was that the messages I received during our healing session were the same ones she received; they matched mine, albeit our wording was a little different.
Desiring greater clarity and not having a specific ailment, I was just open to receiving what I needed. Zana correctly identified old knee injuries and then worked on my whole body with a hands-off conduit approach. I felt energy rushing through my body and as we finished the session I had overwhelming joy pulsing through my system. After our hour-long session I felt a much greater clarity and the session was very affirming in dealing with certain aspects of my life and work.
In response to my interest in how she came to this work, Zana offered, "My initiation into the healing art of transmutation came at a very early age. I received my first bite from the black widow spider as an infant, one night while in my crib. I was rushed to the hospital in a convulsive state, but, of course, without knowing the cause of my reaction, doctors never thought to administer antivenin. My skin showed no sign of a bite, and the incident remained a mystery until I returned home the next day and my mother found the spider in my bedding. Twenty-eight years later, while suffering from a debilitating physical illness, I received my second bite from the black widow under nearly identical circumstances. It marked a turning point in my life and I fully embraced my spiritual gifts and an intense self-healing process began. It was clear to me that if I can transmute venom, certainly I can do the same with toxic emotions and destructive beliefs. After all, when someone experiences physical pain or disease, it is simply the body letting him or her know that there is a mental-emotional imbalance that needs to be addressed.
"In the years that followed, I was called to help others on their journeys with an emphasis on accelerated healing, accountability and self-transformation for lasting results.
