AKIANE KRAMARIK

Artist Akiane Kramarik is a true beacon of light in the world. Her realistic depictions of nature, children, spiritual figures and the cosmos have been called the ultimate "interactive art." Her paintings connect directly to the soul. What makes this talented artist unique, however, is her age. Akiane, a modern goddess in every sense of the word, is only 12 years old. Both her visual and written works will be on display at the Patrick Moore Gallery near downtown San Diego through July 15.
Akiane is "the only known child binary genius in both realistic painting and poetry." She began painting portraits at the age of four. At that time, she also began telling those around her of her detailed visions about heaven and earth. A few years later, she began writing poetry. The depth and detail of her paintings and the wisdom of her verses have astounded those around her. The theme of all of her artistic works is love and peace in all its varying manifestations.
"I want my art to draw people's attention to God and I want my poetry to keep their attention on God," says Akiane.
Akiane has appeared on both the Oprah Winfrey Show and the Montel Williams Show and her talent has captured national attention. She began her current art tour at the Spirit at Work gallery in Boise, Idaho last December. Over 20,000 people from around the world came to Boise to see paintings she had completed from age 7 to 12.

Despite all the fame, this visionary artist from Post Falls, Idaho remains innocent and unaffected. Her family, including three (soon to be four) other siblings, keeps her grounded.
And what are the future plans of this already successful artist? Although she still wishes to paint, she also wants to extend her love and talent into other areas.
"I'll travel to Africa, Europe and everywhere and help the children who are homeless and have no parents," Akiane said in a recent interview with the Idaho Statesman, "I'll help them with the message that God has given me."
Akiane's message to children everyone is as clear as the images in her paintings:
" Believe in God and believe in yourself and you can reach the impossible."
The national Akiane Art Tour will be housed at the Patrick Moore Gallery at 2400 Kettner Blvd., Ste. 103 near downtown San Diego until July 15th. The gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 8pm. Admission is $5 per person, $15 per family and $4 for students and seniors.
