Chakra Dhyana
Kosmic Music | $16.98
So for all of us gods and goddesses that are too busy to go to a yoga class, light the incense, clear a space and put on Chakra Dhyana a new release from Kosmic Music. This melodic CD can take you easily into a deep meditative state where you are transported to the mysticism of India.
The chanting and voiceovers are by Sri Krishnaraj Bhagavaddasa, one of the male guides (dasas) at the Oneness University in Southern India and with music scored and programmed by G Sathyaprasad. This album has traditional mantras for activating the seven chakras in our body. And the voice over guides you on the specific postures, breathing patterns and how to concentrate on various chakras. And ultimately helps the listener in the awakening one's Kundalini. Chakras are energy centers in the body that can respond to Mantras (chanting), Gandha (fragrance), Asana (posture) and Yantra (visualization). The practice of Chakra Dhyana is entirely based on the ancient wisdom of the Kundalini and the Chakras.

"to dance within / the rhythm of the universe / one finds liberation"
~Nicholas Kirsten
Human beings in every culture throughout history have created gods and goddess to guide and rule us, to give us life, luck, crops and beautiful children. We have honored them, sacrificed for them, worshiped them, adored them, and feared them. Gods and goddesses in their varying forms have been responsible for the largest festivals and the grandest parties. They have also been the inspiration for works of art in every field including dance, theatre, music painting, sculpture and more.

The Celebs Must Be Crazy (or not)
©2007 by Michael Raysses
It's been observed that man created the gods to better understand his own life. By learning about them, he would learn about himself. And so, cultures created very elaborate deities who exemplified what it meant to be alive, warts and all. However, because these divine beings were not of this world they were exempt from the rules and conventions to which mere mortals were subjected. The difference between then and now is that our gods and goddesses live within our midst and their every move is documented with unprecedented volume and precision. Today they aren't referred to as gods and goddessesthey are called celebrities.Click here for more.....

Home Grown LOVE
What is a Goddess? She is love and compassion. She is nurturing and intuition. She is the Mother of all creation. She dances to her own ancient rhythms. And if we could ask her what her favorite food would be, it would have to be chocolate.

Norse Mythology: Valkyrian Inspiration for Living
by Bente Mirow
"You are a little Valkyrie, my father said to me often while I was growing up. This comment always left me mildly confused as a child. I associated the word with criticism, yet he always said it with a kind smile. Given my healthy imagination, and had I known about the Valkyries then, I would have probably embraced my Valkyrie-ness and enjoyed a life of glorious, yet schizophrenic, imaginary shape-shifting.

Journey to the Heart of the Goddess:
Reclaiming the power of the Feminine
by Christan Hummel
Over 2,000 years ago, our planet experienced a ³shifting of the poles.² It wasn't a magnetic shift, but one that had just as much of an influence on all life on the planet. It was a shift in polarity from the Yin based Goddess traditions which had ruled for almost 35,000 years, to the new Yang-oriented, patriarchal religions. Long before our current forms of Judeo-Christian, and Islamic religions prevailed, the Goddess tradition was the prevailing form of thought and worship across the globe.

Ask the LifeQuake Doctor The Paradox of Chaos: Are You in a Lifequake?
Dr. Toni Galardi
"The times they are a-changin'." Looking back now, Bob Dylan's lyric is remarkable for its sense of understatement. Not only are the times a-changin,' but they are doing so with increased speed, greater force, and deeper magnitude. Look at the world we live inor most of us, there is a constant demand to learn new technology just to live and work at the most basic level.

And The Healer Is...You
by Nicole Pugh
Healers in their various forms have been around as long as humanity itself. Curanderas in Latin traditions, witch doctors in vodou, faith healers in the Christian religions, shamans, brujas, modern alternative health practitioners in different forms‹through a mysterious connection to the divine or through years of study and practice, these select individuals are given the "gift" of healing. They go out into the world to help others and many of them do in miraculous, albeit mysterious, ways. As for the recipient of the healing, he or she may decide (or it may be recommended to them) that they need more healings.

Soulistic Living: Unleash the God Within
by Christian Martinen
An Early Morning Revelation
I woke up one morning at 4 a.m. feeling like I had been touched by a magic wand. Instantly, I understood that what we refer to as "the pain of the human condition" hinges on the perception that our world is based in duality. Duality creates separation and division. This ultimately leads to physical pain. These early morning revelations would form the basis of what I would later call Soulistic Living. Click here for more....
