Our landscapes are changing—not just our environmental landscapes, but our social landscapes as well. Never before has a generation been faced with such monumental planetary demands. Nor have they been given the opportunity to step forward and unite to answer the call of the world—and it is a mighty call indeed. The needs of our planet are great, and they present us with even greater opportunities for growth and advancement.
Humanity is eager to open up to new ways of living and being in the world. This need and hunger, this striving for something better, something more, is creating a paradigm shift in our culture. Just as the imaginal cells inside the caterpillar help to create the butterfly, we are being called from deep within to bring forth a newness that will create greater harmony and peace in the world.
Many of us today really want to get involved and help on some level. The questions we may be asking ourselves are where do we start? How do we choose where to devote our time, energy and resources? Can we really make a difference? The desire remains strong; the voice inside is still calling from deep within, saying, yes!
